1991 Pierce Model D-8000 Dash Pumper. 1,250 gallon per minute pump and 1000 gallon water tank. Cost $163,651.00. This rig was placed in service as Engine Company 4 in April of 1991. There are high compartments on both sides of the rig and the ladders were mounted on a swinging rack that is over the right side compartments. This was the last piece of fire apparatus to be purchased that was delivered painted lime yellow. It was also the first rig purchased new by the city with a totally enclosed cab, automatic transmission, and with out a booster reel.
