Edward Golson 25th & Final Compost Event


When: Saturday May 4 from 8:30 am - until compost is gone!
WhereVeterans Memorial Park boat launch parking area What: The City of Bay City will provide compost to area residents for their growing season needs.

  • Bring shovels and containers for this self-serve event.
  • Little League players will be on site to provide assistance to our senior citizens and those with special needs. In addition, players will be collecting optional donations at the gate. All proceeds will go toward Little League utility expenses. We encourage everyone to help support our environment and our Little League program in Bay City.

Recycling Event

When: Saturday May 4 from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
Where: 1645 Marquette Ave - at the New City Service Building
What: Bring batteries, cell phones, pill form medicines, household goods, polystyrene foam, building materials, clothing, scrap metal, tube TVs, computer monitors, latex paint (limit 5 cans; $1 fee per can), tires (limit 10/resident; passenger car/truck tires only; no rims; must present driver's license) and more for recycling and/or proper disposal.
