Congratulations to Captain Todd Shorkey for his winning nomination as Firefighter of the Year by The American Legion Post 18Commander. The Fire Operations Division recently nominated him for this prestigious award, which has been accepted and forwarded to The American Legion National Headquarters for their consideration in selecting a national winner.

Meet the newest Department of Public SafetyEmployee, Justin Mlujeak. Officer Mlujeak is from Bay City and graduated fromJohn Glenn High School. He will begin in our field training program and will betraining on both day and night shifts. He will be great asset to our departmentand we are glad to have him. Be sure to introduce yourself and say hello if yousee him out on patrol.
