The City of Bay City Parks Division manages and maintains 238 Acres of parkland and related facilities. Twenty-five individual park areas, along with 10 miles of Railtrail & Riverwalk provide diverse recreational opportunities and experiences for residents and visitors. The Parks Division employs a workforce of six full time employees including a Parks Manager, Administrative Assistant, Maintenance Supervisor and three maintenance employees. Part-time seasonal workers and private contractors provide the additional resources needed to provide services. The Division also oversees the maintenance and management of the Liberty Harbor Marina, James Clements Airport and Oak Ridge Cemetery.
