CITY SEEKING COMMITTEE APPLICANTS FOR VACANCIES, DEADLINE TO APPLY FEB 8, 2021

JAN. 13, 2021, BAY CITY, MICH. - In accordance with policy formulated for the purpose of making appointments to City Boards, Committees and Commissions, notice is hereby given of the following vacancies:

Board of Review

One vacancy – term to expire January 1, 2023

Qualifications: Resident of City

Building Code Board of Appeals

Two vacancies – terms to expire August 1, 2022

Qualifications:  Building background or experience

Columbus Avenue Management Board

Three vacancies – terms to expire October 31, 2022 and 2023

Qualifications:  Must be located within District

Compensation Commission

One vacancy – term to expire May 1, 2026

Qualifications:  Registered voter of City

Downtown Development Authority

One vacancy – term to expire August 16, 2025

Qualifications:  Owners/Operators within Downtown District 

Fire Code Board of Appeals

Four vacancies – terms to expire August 1, 2022

Qualifications:  Fire Prevention background

Historic District Commission

One vacancy – term to expire May 1, 2023

Qualifications:   Experience in Architecture, Building Construction/Engineering, Historic Preservation

James Clements Airport Advisory Committee

Three vacancies – terms to expire January 1, 2024

Qualifications: Must have an interest in Airport functions

Midland Street Management Board

Two vacancies – terms to expire June 30, 2023 and 2024

Qualifications:  Must be in District
