[ARCHIVED] Fourth of July - Street Closures

BAY CITY, MICH. – In preparation for the influx of vehicle and pedestrian traffic this weekend for the Bay City Fireworks Festival, the City of Bay City would like to notify residents and visitors of current street closures that may alter travel plans within the city.

Please note some of the street closures are related to our Feet on the Street effort which began in 2020. Those street closures will remain in effect for a few more months. Learn more about Feet on the Street here: https://www.baycitymi.org/729/Feet-on-the-Street  

DOWNTOWN STREET CLOSURES
3rd Street between N. Water Street and Saginaw Street
N. Water Street between 5th Street and 6th Street
Center Avenue between N. Water Street and Washington Avenue
Saginaw Street between 5th Street and 6th Street
6th Street between N. Water and Saginaw Street (closed to thru traffic but open for DoubleTree by Hilton traffic)
Adams Street from Center Avenue north to just beyond City Market
East bound ramp M-25/McKinley Street to Uptown Bay City

WEST SIDE STREET CLOSURES
West bound ramp from M-25/Veterans Memorial Bridge to John F. Kennedy Drive
West bound ramp from M-25/E. Jenny Street to E. Jenny Street (west side of Realtor Park)
Linn Street between E. Vermont Street and E. Midland Street
500-block of E. Midland Street between Catherine Street and Henry Street
600-block of E. Midland Street between Henry Street and Linn Street
Wenona Avenue between E. Fisher Street and W. Midland Street
