CITY OF BAY CITY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED CITY BUDGETS

A public hearing will be held on the proposed 2023/2024 CITY OF BAY CITY BUDGETS during the Bay City Commission Meeting on June 5, 2023.  This meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 301 Washington Avenue, Bay City, Michigan.

THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.  Any citizen wishing to address the City Commission on the proposed budget will be given time to present oral or written comments at that time.

A copy of the proposed budget, including General Fund and all other special funds, is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or on the City’s website.

This public hearing notice is pursuant to and in compliance with Public Act 40 of 1995 and other applicable law.
