BAY CITY, MICH. – The intersection of Saginaw Street at 3^rd Street is now a 4-Way Stop. In the past, the intersection had STOP signs on Saginaw, and 3^rd Street was not required to stop. However, during the seasonal closure of 3^rd Street, west of the intersection, the intersection had STOP signs on Saginaw and 3^rd Streets. This Traffic Control Order (TCO #2023.015T) will keep the 4-Way Stop in effect throughout the year to eliminate confusion, help the intersection operate better, and improve safety for both drivers and pedestrians.

TCO 2023.015T is a temporary Traffic Control Order that will remain in effect for 90 days. The City Commission will vote whether this will become a permanent TCO at the October 2, 2023, City Commission Meeting.
