4-Way Stop at the Intersection of Saginaw and 3rd Street

BAY CITY, MICH. – The intersection of Saginaw Street at 3rd Street is now a 4-Way Stop. In the past, the intersection had STOP signs on Saginaw, and 3rd Street was not required to stop. However, during the seasonal closure of 3rd Street, west of the intersection, the intersection had STOP signs on Saginaw and 3rd Streets. This Traffic Control Order (TCO #2023.015T) will keep the 4-Way Stop in effect throughout the year to eliminate confusion, help the intersection operate better, and improve safety for both drivers and pedestrians.

TCO 2023.015T is a temporary Traffic Control Order that will remain in effect for 90 days. The City Commission will vote whether this will become a permanent TCO at the October 2, 2023, City Commission Meeting.

Any questions or for a copy of TCO 2023.015T, please contact Engineering at (989) 894-8181.
