Why do I have to pay the Customer Charge for my water, sewer, electric and trash if the meter(s) is off?
The customer service charges are assessed to every address that has meters and lines available for service whether or not they are being used. A city ordinance was adopted to assess these charges so the infrastructure can be maintained.
