The City of Bay City operates under a Commission-Manager form of government. The commission is similar to a board of directors of a corporation, in which all policy-making or legislative functions that are part of a city's government are the exclusive domain of the commission. The commission's primary business is the passage of laws in the form of ordinances or resolutions.

If you would like to participate during the Public Hearing and Public Input portions of the meeting you may do so by following the Zoom instructions provided below. Public Hearing and Public Input will be handled by the “Raise Hand” method as all attendees are muted upon joining the meeting. By raising your hand the host will know you would like to speak.

  3. To participate during Public Hearing or Public Input you will press *9 to raise your hand.
To join the meeting by computer/tablet:
  1. Go to join.zoom.us . Enter the Webinar ID number 689 236 856 (do not enter spaces) when prompted and click join.
  2.  You may continue joining by following the prompts to use your browser, or you may download the Zoom App.
  3. To participate during Public Hearing or Public Input click on the Raise Hand Icon at the bottom of your screen.
