Public Safety Officer Matt Meisel has been with the Bay City Department of Public Safety (BCDPS) since 2016.  He graduated from Bay City All Saints Central High School in 2005 and earned an Associate Degree from Delta College in 2010.   PSO Meisel attended the Bay County Fire Academy in 2015 and obtained his Firefighter I and II certifications from the State of Michigan.  

He began his career in the Patrol Operations Division for BCDPS and was assigned to the Community Policing Unit in 2018 as a School Resource Officer at Central High School until 2020.  He has continued to serve in the Community Policing Unit since that time.
